I just don't get it...are people nowadays getting desperate for telling people their own business for attention or what?

Oh I love it. Microblogging, where you dont have to worry about silly apps or games. And all the MySpace and Facebookers stay away from it; an added bonus.

It's more like telling people whatever you want though; could be good or bad, yet I guess it's something new aside from those MySpace thingy...
:iconfoxinramen:
Heh, how funny I just registered today <XD
My sister says how useless it kinda is, at least based on what she heard people say, because at times, people probably wouldn't be interested at all to hear about the little things going on in one's life.
Really though I think when it comes to sites that join, like I'll say an adoptable site I go on, Squiby, I think it'd help me keep in touch with the updates going on in that place, or others I have problems keeping in touch with :3
Of course I might type some updates, but I wouldn't of course say anything that was what I thought to be too personal xD. Some people could use it for attention seeking, But maybe one would just see it as having simple small talk.

But MySpace and Facebook are also telling people whatever you want. In fact, thats basically what the internet is.

They are different in some content...but I think Twitter just get the opportunity to earn the business because you can tell others about something small like you are drinking coffee or whatever, but MySpace and Facebook are usually an event or so. You won't edit MySpace telling people that you are like sitting on a chair or something small like that, right?

That's true, but I am sure there are some sort of hidden limit within people on how to use it. ^^;
:iconphillus:
That's true...but even though it's not totally worthless, I doubt people could put it into 'good' use...^^;

Even adoptable site is better, at least you can spend your time on something fun and somehow have something to socialize with others.

I don't know about you, but I am sure it's good for those who need a lot of chatting instead. :D
:iconfoxinramen:
what do you consider to be the "good" and "bad" uses of it? 8o I'm curious :3

Heh, yeah ^ ^

Lol, I get quite some good chatting from MSN or art comments themselves x3 I'd kinda like to use Twitter in some way to say how I'm doing, without all the big details like I give in my DA journals at times XD

The "good/bad" I was referring to was the quality, not the "good/evil" which was mistaken. For example, telling people something good and worthy of chatting, maybe something really important or so instead of "going to the library" or something like that.

That's fine, at least when it could come in handy some way...
:iconfoxinramen:
Ohh, I see ' o'
Well, maybe if they said what they did and a small opinion on what happened <x3 I can't picture anyone making simple things like "going to the library" Dx sounds so " :| " And an emote's all I can express to that XD
Maybe if someone also said a thought that showed what they were doing, that could possibly bring some interest
